The NSAC welcomes individual members as well as churches who are interested in becoming chartered as a NSAC church.

Individual Members

Becoming part of an NSAC church is a rewarding and spiritually inspiring path for those looking for something more in their lives.  Here are a few of the reasons you may want to join an NSAC church.

Fellowship – You will be part of an organization established in 1893, with churches and camps across the United States.

Consistency – Knowing that no matter where you go, you can find friendship and fellowship.  Be part of the oldest Spiritualist organizations in the United States.

Credentialling – You can work towards any, or all of the following certifications:

  • Ordained Minister
  • Licentiate Minister
  • Commissioned Healer
  • Certified Medium
  • National Spiritualist Teachers Degree

The Membership Process

Please follow this process to become an NSAC member

  • Find a NSAC church auxiliary in your area that you feel comfortable with that you would like to join.  You can use the church directory if you are not sure of which churches are in your area.  If you do not see a church that is a good fit for you in your area, you may:
    1. Join a church that is online.
    2. Start your own church.
    3. Contact the NSAC office for other options.

  • Fill out the membership application.  Note that each church will have its own specific application requirements and fees, but you will always need to fill out the Member Application.
  • Once you are a member of an NSAC church, you are a member of the NSAC!

Church Members

There are many advantages for a spiritualist church to become an NSAC Church Auxiliary.  Below are a few of them:

IRS 501.3 (c) status: NSAC is already a religious not for profit organization registered with the IRS.

Assistance: We have auxiliaries and missionaries across the United States to assist you.

National office including a bookstore, that is staffed year-round to answer your questions, and assist you in any way

Educational auxiliary to continue your education in Spiritualism

Credentialling standards, and can credential the following:

  • Ordained Ministers
  • Licentiate Ministers
  • Commissioned Healers
  • Certified Mediums
  • And National Spiritualist Teacher Degree

Convention delegates.  Each church is able to have delegates attend our Annual Convention, and be a voice in the organization
